Future tours arranged by Christine-Ann Richards: CHINA TOUR 40^th Anniversary of 1^st CPA Tour to China Sichuan Province & Jingdezhen 7^th– 25^th October 2018 Qionglai & Yingjing Ceramics, Residency at Sanbao & Jingdezhen In the Autumn we will be returning to Sichuan Province, where we will visit Qionglai kiln site, famous for its early ceramics and Yingjing, with a pottery tradition dating back 2,000 years. Using 50% clay and 50% coal dust! Firings: coal & dust & sweet-corn stalks layered alternately. Contrastingly we will then fly to Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China, where we will stay at the Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute on a residency, where one can experiment with the local porcelain clay, with visits to local craftsman producing a variety of wares.
